Our Big Meeting 2008
Our big meeting was opened by the Mayor of Poole,
Councillor Joyce Lavender.
There were speeches and presentations from Charlie Sheldrick, Alison Bale and Arthur Palmer. They talked about the things
Poole Forum had done over the last year.
About 80 people came to the big meeting.
Everyone, who stood for election, had a chance to say something about themselves before people voted.
Then we all voted.
The Borough of Poole’s Electoral Services came along to make sure that all the voting was done fairly.
It took a long time to count up all the votes.
At last, the results were announced.
Then we could all relax and enjoy Arthur Palmer’s great disco !
A big thank you to everyone who helped with our meeting
and elections.
And a special thank you to all the people who took part in
